'AI is getting out of hands' - folks are shocked after Tesla car saves man's life, AI to play a bigger role in healthcare?

Are you a sole trader in one of these industries that are actively using automation for the job?

Hey Gigster 👋

What a year so far and it’s only April! In our last edition we highlighted the key impact of a sudden increase in the gig economy workforce in Australia.

💥 Sole traders and independent contractors will face major changes to market trends and increased competition will cause them to think from the client’s point of view. However, internationally it is not only the increase in number of people seeking side hustles but also the rapid development in AI that is making us envision a globally competitive future.

🤯 Early this week a Tesla owner took to X to praise Tesla Car’s Full-self driving feature that saved his life during a mild heart attack by driving 13 miles from his home to the VA emergency room at 2 AM in the morning!

Some are praising this innovation while some are arguing that AI automation cannot be the future of assessing and transporting patients during self-assessed medical emergencies.

👁️‍🗨️ Is AI truly unstoppable? Scientists are researching to continuously enhance AI models and tools to help industries achieve more accurate results faster. Several countries have already begun investing in an AI-driven future to boost economic stability and innovation!

Here are 4 crucial industries where AI is creating its mark globally:

  1. Healthcare - Across the world, on-demand healthcare workers from transport to nursing are agreeing to the change that impact of automation has brought. AI is being trained to recognise patient’s medical records, assist them virtually during emergencies and even suggest preventive care against diseases!

  2. Finance - AI can now refine financial data faster than ever saving accountants multiple hours every week that would otherwise be used for manual bookkeeping. Banks are actively deploying AI tools to assess loan applications in order to minimise risk and even in investment portfolios to forecast finances.

  3. Architecture - AI has enhanced and quickened the process of refining follies in designing; several big firms are actively using AI to generate ready-made plan templates that save them time and money that would otherwise be used up in doing it manually. AI and 3D printing have achieved efficiency where a model can be produced in the matter of minutes putting freelance modelers and designers in a lot of stress.

  4. Management - From hospitality to HR, AI has managed to evolve itself in data analytics where it can assist customers virtually just as well as freelance consultants and project managers. Consultants are actively looking to collaborate with AI automation tools to help them on-board and assist more clients in less time.

🤔 How do you see the AI revolution impact your life and profession? Enhanced automation technology has already found its way into the professional services sector through metric analysis, virtual management and monitoring. Even as a sole trader, could you imagine a robot as your next boss?
